1. Why does my T1 eSIM expire?/Why do I receive a reminder that my T1 eSIM has expired?
The IoT eSIM that comes with your bike includes 2 years of complimentary cellular service. This is a standard setup to ensure the connected features work properly during the initial ownership period.
After that, you can simply renew the connection with a top-up code to keep enjoying all connected features—no hardware changes are needed.
2. What happens if I don’t renew the service?
If the eSIM service is not renewed, your bike will still function normally for daily riding. However, connected features that rely on cellular service will no longer be available.

⚠️Please make sure to complete the renewal within one month after the expiration date to avoid any service interruption. If the renewal is not completed in time, the eSIM service may not be reactivated.
3. How can I renew my SIM service?
To keep enjoying all connected features, you can renew your eSIM service directly through the Velotric app using the unique top-up code sent to your email after purchase.

In the Velotric App, switch to your T1 bike page and tap “Bike Settings.”
On the BIKE SETTINGS page, find the E-SIM option and tap it to open the E-SIM page.
On the E-SIM page, you’ll see information such as the eSIM validity period and status. Tap “Top Up” to enter the Top Up page.
Enter your Top-Up Code in the input box under Top-Up Code, then tap “Top Up Now” to complete the renewal.
4. How long does it take for the renewal to take effect?
After you complete the renewal, the SIM service will normally be activated within about one hour.
In some cases, there may be a slight delay due to network synchronization, so please allow up to one hour before checking the eSIM status in the Velotric App.
